Imagine you’re in your workshop, letting your imagination run wild. If you could whip up a gadget just for fun, what would it be? What kind of quirky problem would it tackle, or what kind of playful trouble would it get you into?

I’d create a little robot that automatically picks up dropped bolts and sockets before they vanish for good. It’d spare my knees, keep me sane, and probably save me an hour of searching around the shop each week.

I’d design a smart mug warmer that shuts off after I forget my coffee for the fifth time. It won’t solve my concentration issues, but at least my drink won’t go cold again.

I could really use a noise-sensing shop light that gets brighter when the grinder kicks up a racket. It won’t protect my ears, but it’d feel like the shop is responding to the chaos alongside me.

I want a tool cart that follows me around like a trusty dog. No more trekking back for that one wrench I always leave behind, just have it roll over to me, ready for whatever I need next.

i’d like something that turns off the neighbors lights so I can see the stars.

Maybe a better way to feed ground-feeding birds that doesn’t also feed squirrels.

Really love the idea of stargazing. I'm definitely interested but for those high beam headlights that blind you on the road.

And as for the squirrel-proof bird feeder, that would be awesome.

That's a complete backyard defense setup, and it even has a cool alchemy mode. I’d invest especially in the gold setting.

I'd build a tool finder that instantly tells me where I set something down five minutes ago. It would probably save me more time than any other invention I can think of.
