Deltalab Effectron 1024 circuit anyone? From around 1984 era.

Hoping to convert the power from Australian to US power. I moved from Aust to the US - a long story.

Is your unit designed for 240V AC since it's from Australia? I think the easiest and safest solution is an external step-down transformer. You'll plug this into the wall, and the Effectron into the transformer. Just make sure the transformer is rated for the correct wattage. 50W or 100W would be safe. Some units have an internal transformer that can be rewired for 120V, but that requires opening it up and knowing what you're doing. So I'd personally got with the step-down transformer. It's a no-fuss solution that'll get you up and running right away without any risk to the unit.

I'm sure you mean step-up, not step-down, since line voltages elsewhere in the world are either 120 V (US and others) or 100 V (Japan).
