Holiday soldering soundtrack

You’re at your workbench, the iron warming up, holiday lights twinkling in the background, and you need some tunes to keep the vibe going while you solder.

What’s your favorite soundtrack for this season?

Last year in December, I was cranking classic rock holiday tunes while soldering. Nothing too special, just loud guitars and holiday lights making my workspace feel kinda cool.

I remember one holiday when I was messing around with a homemade amp, I had some old-school metal Christmas songs on repeat. The distorted guitars went well with the sound of the soldering iron, and the cold night turned into something warm, loud, and strangely festive. I’ve been using that playlist ever since.

So, one winter I was working on some circuit boards while listening to synthwave Christmas music. The rhythm kept me locked in, and the neon vibe went great with the holiday lights.

I jave a playlist of classic Christmas songs that I play during the holidays. I even made a “Music DVD” of the songs so I can play it in someone else’s house.

I’m really into the combination of classic rocks, metal riffs, synthwave vibes, and timeless holiday songs. They all make for an amazing shop soundtrack, each in their own special way.
