is my Omron G8P 1A4P fake?

I'm trying to fix my dryer's control board and need to replace an old Omron G8P 1A4P relay.

I know they've been discontinued for a while, but I found a bunch on eBay from a seller in China for super cheap. My gut feeling is they're fake.
The original relay says Made in Indonesia, but the ones I got say Made in China and have a few weird imperfections, it's just different.
They look okay, but I'm worried about using a cheap knockoff to power my dryer's motor.

Has anyone else dealt with this? Is it normal to get a made in China version of a discontinued Indonesian part?
For those who have repaired dryer boards, are there any reputable sources for these discontinued parts, or is it always a gamble? Hit me with your thoughts and advice guys!

I wouldn't use those parts! With a discontinued part like the Omron G8P-1A4P, cheap eBay listings from overseas are almost certainly fake or poor-quality rejects, especially since your originals say they were made in Indonesia while the new ones are made in China. This relay powers your dryer motor so a knockoff is a serious fire risk and will fail fast! Ditch the discontinued model and find a Form, Fit, and Function equivalent from a reputable supplier like Digi-Key or Mouser. Look for a relay with the same coil voltage, the same footprint, and contacts rated for at least 25A at 240VAC. This is the safest, most reliable fix!

yeah, I think you're right, they're knock off. The risk with knockoffs, especially for a high current load like a dryer motor, isn't just that they'll fail, but that they could be a fire hazard due to poor contact material or low quality plastic that can't handle the heat. I wouldn't risk a cheap, unknown relay on a major appliance. It's a gamble not worth taking

Also, have a look at the datasheet for arc suppression and contact gap details. Some copies cut corners here, which can cause welding or vibration with inductive loads like dryer motors.
