My OurPCB board review

Just got some PCBs from OurPCB and wanted to give you guys my review/

I ordered two designs, one with three sub-boards, for about $320. It wasn't cheap, but the sub-boards might've upped the tooling cost.

The board quality was great, especially the bigger ones. But, I spotted something weird. There was a black stuff on the back of some boards between copper pours, and the copper felt thicker there. Any ideas what this is? Could it be from etching? Is it normal?

I think there might be some overplating happening, essentially that's just extra copper buildup during the manufacturing process. As for the black residue, it could be leftover laminate or flux. This isn't unusual, but it's definitely something to point out if it's impacting performance.

That seems expen$ive to me. Did you try JLPCB?
