Rigol Oscilloscopes

Rigol oscilloscopes, like the DS1054Z, are popular for their good performance and value. They offer 50 MHz bandwidth, four channels, a 7 inch display, and features like protocol decoding. Its great for beginners and pros alike, though the screen can feel a bit crowded and some high end features aren't as strong as competitors. Overall, excellent bang for the buck though

They strike an excellent balance between features and performance, which is why they’re so popular in both educational and professional settings. Rigol oscilloscopes are recognized for being both budget-friendly and dependable. Models such as the DS1000E and MSO series come packed with powerful functionalities, including advanced triggering and analysis tools, making them ideal for various signal integrity tasks.

For the price, Rigol is a fantastic value, especially the DS1054Z and similar entry-level models. You get great features like deep memory and decoding options that competitors often lack at the same price. The main trade-offs though are a sluggish UI and a slightly higher noise floor than premium brands. If you're a hobbyist or student and not doing high-end RF, I think they'd be perfect. Which specific model are you looking into?

I agree that they're solid for the money! Sure they're not Keysight but you get a ton of features for such a price point, especially if you look into the common bandwidth and feature unlocks. Also just make sure the model you're checking out meets your minimum bandwidth requirements!
