What have you done if your turkey was still solid on Thanksgiving morning?

We thawed ours in the sink with cool running water, and it worked, but the chaos nearly took over the whole day.

So, one year ours was a frozen rock. We chopped it into chunks and roasted them separately. It was a bit messy, but hey, dinner was served!

Oh man something similar happened to me once. Ended up smoking a turkey that was still half-frozen. Surprisingly it actually tasted amazing!

We threw ours in a cooler full of warm water and kept turning it around, it felt like we were doing some science stuff, but it worked!
