Probably a NE-2 blinking light. A 90V barrery, a 1Meg resistor, a 1UF capacitor and a little neon light. It would blink about once a second, and it did somfor years.
That's really cool! It's incredible how a basic spinning motor can evolve into a blinker that lasts for years. Those early projects can lead to some amazing outcomes.
