What project got you into electronics?

I can still picture the moment I wired up a little LED project that actually worked, it completely hooked me! What was the first project that got you excited about circuits?

I remember back in school when I wired up a simple motor with a battery. Watching it spin for the very first time was what really got me interested.

Probably a NE-2 blinking light. A 90V barrery, a 1Meg resistor, a 1UF capacitor and a little neon light. It would blink about once a second, and it did somfor years.

That's really cool! It's incredible how a basic spinning motor can evolve into a blinker that lasts for years. Those early projects can lead to some amazing outcomes.
