Remember that feeling from childhood? You're looking at the tree, straining to hear those reindeer hooves, fully wrapped up in the magic of it all. Then there’s that moment when things start to make sense in a different way, and it hits you. I can still recall when that happened to me, and it got me thinking. When did you first figure out that Santa and his reindeer weren’t real? How did it go down for you? I’d love to hear your stories and compare those pivotal holiday moments.

I discovered the From Santa LEGO set tucked away in my parents' closet when I was about eight. It stung a bit to realize the truth, but hey, at least I knew it was on its way.

By the time I turned nine, the magic was officially gone. I caught my dad munching on the cookies we had left out, and let's be real, his full beard gave it all away.

I held on to my belief with stubbornness until I was ten. That’s when my older sister decided it was time for a reality check. She laid out all the facts, and honestly, I couldn’t argue against her points. That was the quiet end of that chapter for me.
