I've got this old 600amp MOT/variac setup that I repurposed for electroplating, it's super powerful, but right now all the parts are just lying around!
I desperately need to shove all this junk inside a heavy duty metal carry case.
Any recs for online shops that have a huge selection of good quality metal enclosures or tool cases?

McMaster-Carr also offers a wide range of sturdy metal enclosures and cases

Try repurposing old rack mount cabinets. The old Altec 1500 series cabinets are well made and some have very few holes in the front (see 1593 and 1594 amps, for example. One of these will give you a 28V power supply with 4 to 8 amp output for free and you can build on from there. Check ebay. Older media converter cabinets are great sources for card cages.

That's a fantastic idea. Those vintage Altec cabinets are sturdy and adaptable, what a smart way to recycle equipment and jumpstart a project.
