You've likely been busy this year, maybe working on a stubborn circuit, building a project, or finally mastering a tool that once challenged you. As you think back, what electronics skill are you most grateful to have learned this year? How has it simplified your work or hobbies?

Earlier this year, I finally figured out how to use a multimeter the right way. Before, I was just guessing when dealing with voltage problems. Now, I can find those issues super quick. It's made fixing stuff, like old radios and the wiring in my garage, way easier. Plus, I feel a lot more confident when I'm working with electronics.

I had to be taught how to solder well. But now I’ve been doing it for almost sixty years, and I’m still pretty good. Not that I don’t het the occasional cold joint, but it’s rare.

I took to oscilloscopes very quickly. Waveforms tell me a ton about what’s going on in the circuit.
