As we step into the new year, there’s usually that one thing we’re all eager to let go of. It could be a pesky habit, a project that’s been more trouble than it’s worth, or just something that didn’t quite work out for you this past year. What’s one thing you’re looking forward to leaving behind in 2025?

I'm done with the habit of taking on way too many side projects. Last year, I took on so much that I barely managed to finish half of what I set out to do. This time, I'm keeping it straightforward and leaving the chaos behind.

For me, it's that half-finished garage cleanup that’s been nagging at me since spring. I just kept moving things around instead of really tackling it. In 2025, I’m putting an end to that procrastination cycle.

I’m letting go of stressing over every little detail. After a few projects went off track this year, I realized I was wasting energy on things that didn’t really matter. Next year, I’m honing in on what truly makes a difference.

My one and only new year’s resolution is to stop starting new projects until I finish one that’s already beiing worked on. Saying “no,” even to myself, is very hard to do.

We’ll see how long I can keep that resolution.

That’s a great way to think zeroing in on what truly counts can really change the game. What a smart approach for the new year

That’s a challenging one, but it’s a really wise decision, seeing things through to the end. Wishing you the best of luck in sticking with it.
