Lately I've been getting more involved in restoration work and noticed that some folks really rely on solder pots and tweezers for their speed and precision. Do you use these specialized tools in your process? Where do you find they work best for you?

Solder tweezers are great for removing components cleanly while solder pots can be handy for stripping wires or working on repetitive restoration jobs where speed matters.

Yeah, both have their place depending on the work. Solder pots are great for repetitive tinning or small parts in batches, while solder tweezers shine on precision electronics or delicate restorations where control matters most.

I’ve found specialized tools like that really shine when you’re doing repetitive work. For occasional jobs a standard iron gets it done but for restoration projects the right tool can save a lot of time and frustration.
