Hosting versus visiting what’s your holiday style? I remember one Thanksgiving where I hiked up a hill and enjoyed sandwiches at the peak no elaborate setup just great friends and breathtaking scenery. Some holidays aren’t about tradition and that’s what makes them so enjoyable. How do you like to celebrate?

I’m definitely more of a visitor at heart. One Christmas I spent the holiday at a friend’s cozy cabin. There wasn’t anything extravagant just a warm fire some hot cocoa and plenty of laughter. It’s those simple moments that really stick with me.

I no longer have family in the area, and Thanksgiving is a family event, so it’s just me and my wife.

Our house is set up so we can entertain, though. We have a big dining table, plenty of seating both inside and out, and plenty of side spaces where small groups can branch off.

Of course, we’re always eager to visit whenever we’re invited.

Sounds like you're all set for hosting, glad you two are keeping the fun going!
