Obscure hobbies you’ve tried

You found yourself wandering down a random rabbit hole one day, trying out something that was oddly specific, technical, or a bit obscure. Maybe it became a new passion, or perhaps it fizzled out just as quickly. What was that all about? Did it grow into a real hobby, or did it just fade away?

One weekend, I got really into building tiny model engines. My desk quickly filled up with unfinished pistons and gears. I had a blast for about a month, but then I realized the cleanup was more than I wanted to deal with.

Whoa 16 WPM? That's seriously awesome. CW is super classic and learning it is always a cool thing to do.
