the life of 9v lithium battery and alkaline battery

I have a continuous running embedded project, which one is better: 9v lithium battery and alkaline battery?

I'd pick the 9V lithium. It keeps the voltage more stable and lasts way longer. I found this out when I made a little weather thing. The alkaline ones died super quick, like, in just a few weeks. But once I switched to lithium, it ran great for months without me needing to change the batteries.

bro, for your kind of project, a 9V Lithium battery is moresuperior to an alkaline bcs of its 3-5x longer life, higher capacity (around 1200mAh vs 550mAh), stable voltage output until depleted, and better performance in extreme temperatures
it's great for long term, reliable power despite its higher upfront cost.

yeah, alkaline batteries are cheaper, but lose voltage gradually and aren't suited for sustained high drain or critical applications

lithium 9V batteries obviously are more superior to alkaline. but I got a better idea, how about USB power bank. if the project can sit near a USB port, a power bank provides continuous power and can recharge itself (or the project's internal battery)
